GOLDEN WEDDING

MR. AXD MRS. R. CORSON Mr. and Mrs. R. Corson, who now reside with their daughter. Mrs. S. K. Wallis, in Lower Hutt. celebrated their golden wedding recently. For many years* Mr. Corson was in business in Petone. Mr. and Mrs. Corson won the esteem of a host of friends during their long association with Petone and district, and this was evidenced at the wedding breakfast, when 150 guests .vere present.. A twQ-'ier wedding cake bad pride of place. The principal toast, that of Mr. and Mrs. Ccrson. was proposed by the Mayor of Petone, Mr. H. Green, who paid a tribute to the fine citizenship ami popularity of the guests of honour. Messages of congratulation were received from nil parta of New Zealand.
