Arrangements for the competitions festival are proceeding smoothly. II will be officially opened by I lie Mayor; Mr. .1. W. Andrews, in the Horticultural Hall on Saturday. May in.
The entries received for the festival are a record over 1600. com-
pared with 117!l last year. Th. trophies and cups will be on exhibition in a shop window in High Street before the festival opens.
