HUTT MUSIC SOCIETY

CHORAL GROVP CONDUCTOR Mr. Horace Hunt has been appointed conductor of the chorai group of the Hutt Music Society. The first rehearsal of the group will be held next Tuesday night, when a large attendance of members and intending members is expected. Mr Hunt, who recently returned to New Zealand alter 21 years In the United States, is a brilliant pianist, and has had wide experience aconductor of choral and orchestral societies. Gramophone Group

The Society's gramophone group was launched very successfully on Monaay night. Much enthusiasm was shown at the meeting, among those present being several people from Petone. Mrs. .1.
