WORLD SCOUT JAMBOREE

v MUTT’S LARGE CONTINGENT Eighty Boy Scouts and forty Scoutmasters and Rovers from the Hutt Valley will be going to the World Scout Jamboree to be held in France next year. This is by far the largest contingent in New Zealand. ! One group is sending fourteen members without help from the County Headquarters or the district as a whole. The job scheme to raise funds will be developed during the summer by sending boys to fruit farms, etc. A During the Labour Day week-end k jkeveral camps were held and there a training course for cultmasters at the Wainui-o-Mata waterworks reserve.
