COUNCIL AND RATEPAYERS When Mr. F. Lonsdale was pro* posed for election to the executive at the. annual meeting of the Lower Hutt Ratepayers' Association the chairman, Mr. C. H. Hain, expressed the opinion that it was a good prece.dent to have a councillor on the Association’s executive. Mr. B. Matthews said they were very grateful to Mr. Lonsdale, who had been of great help to the Association. Mr. Lonsdale said that as he was out for the good of the community he would be pleased to go on the executive.
