HUTT VALLEY TOURNAMENTS The Wellington Bowling Centre lias granted permission to the Hutt Valley tournament committee to hold the McArthur and Henry Shield tournaments on January Ist, 2nd, and 3rd, subject to the condition of the Hutt greens being satisfactory. The centre has approved of the colours of the Woburn Club. The Petone Club's change of colours has also been approved, subject to the decision of the New Zealand Bowling Council. Woburn Club's Opening The Mayor of Lower Hutt, Mr. J. W. Andrews, officially opened the Woburn Bowling Club's season. The Mayoress, Mrs. Andrews, sent down the first kitty, and the first bowl was delivered by the president, of the club, Mr. H. Yardley. ,
