LABOUR PARTY

ADDRESSES BY MR. NASH

Mr. W. Nash, Minister of Finance, addressed a meeting of friends and supporters at Naenae on Monday night, outlining what the Government had done in providing houses for the people and other aspects of Government policy. At the close of the meeting votes of confidence in Messrs. Nash and Combs and the Government were passed.

Mr. Nash will address a meeting of electors in the Horticultural Hall, Lower Hutt, next Tuesday night, in the Naenae School Hall on October 23, and in the Waterloo School Assembly Hall on October 24. In view of Mr. Holland's meeting at Christchurch on , the previous evening, it is anticipated that Mr. Nash's address at the Horticultural Hall may be in the nature of a reply, and should therefore be of much interest.
