WOMEN'S INSTITUTE

RELMONT BRANCH MEETING A meeting of the Belmont Women's Institute was held in the Red Cross Hall, Lower Hutt. Mrs Thompson presided over a very good attendance. The Drama Circle gave a splendid reading of the one-act comedy, "Mrs. Methusaleh." Winners of competitions for the month were: — Article made from one skein of 3-ply crochet wool, Mrs Bennett; best flower, Mrs. Clifford. A quiz on household hints was conducted by Mrs. Liebezeit. The Garden Circle recently met at the homes of Mrs. Hardwick Smith and Mrs. Andrews, spending very enjoyable and instructive afternoons.
