David Daily, Ltd., a building firm, was charged that, having been notified by the Building Controller that construction of concrete paths at a church in Knights Road should be stopped, he proceeded with the work in contravention of the order. , For the defendant, Mr. E. F. Roth well stated that when notice to cease work was given there remained only two days' work to be done of a 12 months' job.
