HUTT VALLEY RESOLUTIONS Mr. W. H. Thompson, of Hamilton, addressesd a meeting of representatives of Hutt Valley local bodies recently on the part thabinterestr free money can play in post-war economy. Mr." Thompson considered that the Reserve Bank should finance rehabilitation and all approved' national and local undertakings interest free a.t source. On the motion of Mr. E. Rothwell, seconded by Mr. F. Lonsdale, it was decided to send the following resolution to the acting-Prime Minister: "That this meeting of Hutt Valley local bodies, having listened with great attention to the lecture by Mr. Thompson, urges you to give the deepest consideration to representations made with the object of facilitating the granting of interestfree loans for national projects."
