■ # In notifying the Hutt Valley Electric Power Board of the removal of the wartime restrictions on lighting, the Dominion Controller referred to the work done by the local lighting controller, Mr. E. F. Holands. "This letter is the last I have to write in that capacity, and in- recollecting the many difficulties in the office of local lighting controller you will doubtless be thankful. However, after you accepted that position the work became increasingly'necessary and had to be carried out in the least possible time.
