NEW HEADMASTER
Approval lias been received from the Department of Education for the appointment of Lieut.-Colonel <J. J. McNaught, PI.A., as headmaster of the New Plymouth Boys' High School, in succession to Mr.' W. H. Moyes. Tlio present acting headmaster, Mr. A. L. Moore, was among the applicants but had to withdraw on account of ill health. Lieut.-Colonel McNaught recently returned from the Middle East. Ii» held commissioned rank in the last war and from 1 J)22 to 11)25 was a master at Wellington CoTTege. In 1!):;:] he became first assistant at the Hutt Valley School.
