Official advice has been received by Air Headquarters, Wellington, ;iat Wing Commander Geoffrey Twyford Jarman, D.F.C., has awarded the Distinguished Service Order.

Wing Commander Jarman, D.F.C., D.5.0,, Is the elder son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Jarman, of Penrose Street, n 1930 he was selected Jor a short service commission in the Royal Air Force. His vyife and two children are at present staying with nis parents. The second son; Mr. v, Alfred Jarman (Bouff) enlisted with an artillery regiment on the outbreak of war, but was retained for special home service with u.e Bristol Aeroplane Co., whore he is at present stationed.
