MUNICIPAL BAND
—»— BIU CONCERT NEXT SUNDAY Next Sunday, in the King George Theatre, the popular Municipal Band will present its first band and picture concert for 1939. Sandy Powell, the inimitable Yorkshire comedian, a favourite with old and young alike, will be starring in the film "Leave it to Me." This picture is undoubtedy the best Sandy has made, and is literally packed with fun. The band, conducted by Mr. A. 0. Kaye, of course, needs no' introduction, and with its 38 players will provide its usual bright and entertaining programme. Patrons may look. forward to a particularly entertaining show. Buses will be available after the performance," and reserves for the concert may-now be booked at "The Willows."
