Dance & Card Party
Just over one hundred parents and friends were present at the Waterloo School 011 Wednesday last when a dance and cardi party were held.
The school's modern social-room was decoratcd with pendulous streamers in the school colours of scarlet and gold, while cherry blossom and coloured lights created a pleasant dance atmosphere for the many dancers present. The successful players were Mrs. Foothead and Mr. C. Whittaker. The committee responsible for the functiou comprised Mrs. P. Swafiield, Mrs. Dobson, Mrs. Stevens, and Messrs E. D. Smith (chairman), H. M. Ibell (Secretary), J. K. Hale (Treasurer), A. Ritson,, A. Macdiarmid, A. L. Stevens, E. Johnson, A. Meiklejohn.
