Because of the tense position in Europe at present, special prayers for peace and for the guidance of the nations were offered in Lower Hutt Churches yesterday. Prayer meetings are being held in the Churches during the week. The Ministers' Fraternal hasi arranged two united prayer meetings in the Methodist Church, Laing's Road on Monday and Wednesday of this week from 12.30 p.m. till 1.30 p.m. and the Church is open all day that anybody may enter for quiet devotions. The President of the Ministers' Fraternal earnestly requests the people to pray that the leaders of the Nations may have the guidance of the Spirit of God in all international problems.
