— ❖ v Bunches of feathery wattle provided, a spring-like atmosphere at the R.S.A. rocms on Thursday evening when the* "Happy Hundred Club" held its second dance of the season. Mr. and Mrs N. T. Gillespie received the guests, the latter wearing 'a frock of floral crcpe do chino in green, orange and oyster shades, with a shoulder spray of golden spring flowers and maidenhair fern. A log fire glowed cheerily, and an alccvo with iounge chairs and bright with bowls of wattle was a cosy rendezvous. The Maori band provided excellent music. The committed was as follows:—Dr. anil Mrs. Welton Hogg, flame velvet Mr. and Mrs. H. Haddock, silver satin; Mr and Mrs W. G. Fisher, black satin; Mr 11.I 1 . Stcupe.
