RE-LICENSING OF MOTOR VEHICLES.

* Owners of motor vehicles are reminded that white on chocolate plates cannot be lawfully used after the 31st May 1934.

Plates for the year commencing Ist June (while on blue) are now available at Post Oflices and owners of motor vehicles' arc requested to make early application for them thereby relieving congestion towards the end of the month. To obviat congestion at the Money Order and Savings Bank counter of the local post office a room in the back portion of the premises has been specially litted up for motor re-licensing and will be in use from the 10th instant until the 2nd prox. (both dates inclusive) during which period all work in connection with re-licensing will be transacted. The entrance to this room is from Laings Road. It is desired to remind the public gen orally and motorists in particular, that the Money Order and Savings Bank branch of the Post Office (which includes motor registration) now closes at ]2 noon on Saturdays;
