LOWER HUTT LADIES' MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB.
Last Thursday evening the otlicial opening of the above club took place nt the Range. The evening took the form of a friendly match between Petone Ladies' Club, Hutt men and Hutt ladies. A ping-pong tournament and sonic competitions were al'so run. The prize winners were:— Highest score, Petone Ladies, Miss Heeney; Hutt men Mr Iveene; Consolation prizes: Petone Ladies,( Miss Stewart; Hutt Men, Mr Dickham. Ping-pong, Mr .Sissons; Motor Car Competition, Miss Gregory. Telegram Competition, Mrs Maitland. Special Prize for good shooting, Mrs Solomon. The evening concluded with a dainty supper. The officers for the year are:—President, Mrs Walter Nash; club captain, Miss 11. Lawrence; vice-captain, Airs Ching; lion, secretary, Miss E/WatsonMunro; treasurer, Miss B. Calder; coach Mr H. Keciie.
