A farewell letter was received from Mrs Dent, who is retiring from the Foreign Mission Field after 1(J years of active service, and there was also a report from the Kurahuna Training School for Maori girls. Mrs W. E. Saunders was in charge of the stall. Parcels are being received for ' the mission sack, but there is still urgent need for clothing, books, ctc. After tea Rev F. Hayman gave a splendid address on "Building Womanhood in the Solomons." It is of no use bring- j ing our materialistic Western education to these races: we must aim at a thorough Christian education.
