SPORTS AT SANSON.

PRIMARY SCHOOL TEAM. As in previous years the iprimary department of: the Levin District High School will be- represented by three teams at the Sandon Sports Club’s annual fixture, to be held at Sanson tomorrow. The programme includes the contest for the Fagan-Henson shield, the Hornblow shield and the McKelvie shield. The local school, 1 however, is eligible to compete for the the last of these only. The competition for the first two. shields commence at 10.30 a.m. and 11 a.m. respectively, and it is anticipated that the McKelvie shield contest will commence shortly after noon. The following will represent the . Levin school, and will assemble at the school shortly before 10 a.m., the time of departure: Cathie Whitaker, Heather Auckram, Lois Franklin, Irene Hudson, Valerie Dewis, Beverley Hirst, Leslie Bateman, Nancy Harper, Peggy Wills, Marie Law, Noeline Teal, Merle Lung, Yvonne Heremaia, Nola McKinstry, Dorothy Hassell, Lucy Harper, Nola Wright,, Nancy Loane, Verna Harper, Lavinia Paid and Joyce Vernon. Boys: Desmond Jacob, Bernard Casey, Edward Hinde, G. Brown, A. Bignal, E. Farrington, Calvin llayter, D. McGregor, Garth Hocking, K. Henley, T. McDonald, John Goodwin, James Casey, Ray Williams, William Ward, George Hudson, Ainsworth Ingram, George Simpson, Marshall Teal, Wallace femith, C. Robinson. The children will be in charge of Mrs. Z. K. Lynch and Messrs T. Chipper and E. Hayter.
