WITH THE HUNT CLUB.
MEET AT OHAU. A very successful and well-attended meeting was conducted by the Horowhenua branch of the Manawatu Hunt Club over the properties of Mr. A. M. Colquhoun and Mrs. N. Kirkcaldie, at Muhunoa. East, on Saturday afternoon. The meet took the form of a hare hunt and the result of the day was two ‘ ‘kills.” Dr. S. J. Thompson, riding Gunpowder, was master, while Mr. J. J. Waller, on Broadway, was huntsman. Among the followers were; Miss R. Woods, on Joker; Miss N. Thomson, Radio; Miss J. Hillas, Crackle; Miss J. Chaney, Kehn; Miss K. Bowman, Nightrunner; Messrs G.
