MAORI GATHERING PROHIBITED
NECESSARY HEALTH PRECAUTION. In view of the spejcial ' precautions rendered necessary with, the prevalence of infantile paralysis, and in particular owing to the fact that there wag a suspected case of the disease in the immediate locality a little over a w;eek ago, notice is' given "by the Medical 'Officer of Health, through the advertising columns of this issue, of the prohibition of a gathering of Natives at the Maori Pa in Beach Road, Levin. The gathering is in the form of a "hui," and commenced yesterday. It is now necesasry that it should be discontinued immediately.
