HOME AND SCHOOL ASSOCIATION.

At a recent meeting- of the Levin branch of the Home and School Association several matters of interest were discussed, including the establishment of a wireless set with speakers connecting the three schools. It is believed by members of the committee that this can be achieved with the co-opera* tion and assistancse of parents and residents of this district, therefore, if anything is to be gained ,by wireless from an educational point of view, it behoves parents to see that the children do not suffer from lack of equipment. Complimentary reference was also made to the work carried: out by the school janitor (Mr. W. La Roche) in combating with, any possible dangerous, microbes, as the disinfecting and scrubbing of the school was well on the way when members of the committee visited the school during the week.
