MRS. NORTON CONVICTED.

ON CHARGE OF MISUSING MAILS(By Telegraph-Press Assn.--Copyright v , (Received Sunday, 19.20 p.m.) LOS ANGELES, April 24. Mrs. Norton,, who alleged that Clark Gable was the father of her child, was convicted of misusing the mails, but was acquitted of conspiracy. She will be sentenced on May 3rd. The maximum sentence for the charge is five years in prison and a thousand dollar fine. Her attorney said he w-ould ask for probation and a permit to allow Mrs. Norton to leave the United States. If this was refused he would appeal.
