FATAL FALL FROM CLIFF.
COUNTRY SCHOOL TEACHER THE VICTIM. NEW PLYMOUTH. Monday. A school teacher, Theodore James King, of Moeatoa, in the Mokau district, was killed yesterday when he fell over a steep cliff at Nukuhakere, on the sea coast north of I'aranaki. Mr King and a friend, Mr Ryan, were out hiking when the accident happened. A rising tide spoilt rescue efforts by the deceased's companion, and the body was only recovered this morning. Mr King came from Dunedin.
