CORRESPONDENCE.

(To the Editor.) Pear Sir, —I would bo much obliged it' you would give me space to correct a statement appearing in your issue of June 13th. When discussing the new roads p.«»posul in the County' Council, 1 was made to say that under my proposal it would take four years to complete them. That .is not so as if the ratepayers consented to a loan, the work could be done in one year. It is under the alternative scheme that it would take four years or longer.—l am., etc., G. P. CATLEY. Ohau, June 18th.
