Thf decision means that tho Volstead Act, prohibiting the saUj of ouy beverage containing one-halt of one per cent or more of alcohol must be enforced in every iStat-e, regardless of whether that Stato has individually ratified the amendment. State laws allowing a higher alcoholic content enacted in w Jersey, "Wisconsin and Rhode Island are nullified.
