Cricket "Amenities."
MELBOURNE, February 0. ►Saturday's embrogliu at Sydney between Hill and MacAlister wao generally discussed at tho cricket match. MacAlister declines to say anything. Hill states that during the meeting MacAlister repeatedly insulted iiim by criticising his captaincy, saying it was the worst to be seen. Ilill remarked, " Repeat that, and I will pull your nose." MacAlister persisted, and Hi'! slapped him a back-bander. MacAlister retaliated, and the fight occupied ten minutes. Hill immediately wrote out his resignation of the selectorship, and declines to act on a committee with MacAlister. The Board of Control meets shortly to consider the embroglio.
