Wellington Tram Strike Settled.
Tlio dispute between the Wellington City Council and the Wellington Tramways Union has been compromised, each side making concessions. The avoidance of an extension of the strike is attributed to the good offices of Sir Joseph Ward, who personally acted as intermediary.
