In the course of an address to the delegate# to the National Dairy Conference at Hastings this afternoon, the Hon. W. Nash, Minister ct Finance, stated that all that he could say at the present time as to ths price to be fixed by the Government in the matter of dairy produce was that it would bo “better than last year, better than the year before that, better than the year before that oven, and better than the year before that,” and in an aside to himself he said something that evidently was not intended to be audible.
