FIELD-MARSHAL’S BATON
Honour for the King INTERESTING CEREMONIES -British Ofiicial Wireless.) (Received 24, 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, April 23. Two interesting ceremonies connected with the King’s accession to the throne will take place at Buckingham Palace next month. Early in the month Ambassadors and Ministers accredited to the Court of St. James will attend the Palace and present anew their letters of credence to the Sovereign.

All field marshals of the British army, headed by the Duke of Kent, attended to-day the annual service of the Order of St. Michael and St. George in St. Paul’s Cathedral, when, with impressive' ceremonial, his banner was affixed to the chapel of the Order.
