Wilkinson—Smith
The wedding was solemnised in the Dannevirke Alethodist Church on Wednesday, April tj, of Barbara, youngest daughter of Air and Mrs A. W. Smith, Daniievirke, formerly of Hastings, and Reginald Charles, eldest sou of Mr and Mrs W. Wilkinson, Levin. The bride looked sweet in a gown of pale pink lace with silver trimming, her hat and shoes being in harmonising shades. She carried a bouquet of pale pink roses and lilies embellished with pink ribbon and a silver horseshoe. Aliss C, Kooney, of Hastings, was the bridesmaid, and very pretty she appeared in a frock of pale blue crepe suede trimmed with silver. She wore a pale pink hat and carried a bouquet in shades of blue with a silver ribbon. Air B. Wilkinson, ot Levin, was best man. The Rev. R. J. Liddell performed the ceremony, and tho bride was given away by her Lather. A reception was held at Loader’s, where Airs Smith received her guests in a becoming frock ol navy crepe and lace, with hat and shoes to mutch. She carried a posy of autumn tinted flowers. The bridegroom’s mother, Airs Wilkinson, wore a black tailored coat and hat to tone, her dress being of black and white silk. She also carried a posy. The bridegroom’s present to ths bridesmaid was a silver necklace set with pale blue stones. When the couple left for their honeymoon at New Plymouth the bride wore a nigger brown tailored coat with lint in harmonising shade.' The home of Air and Mrs R. C. Wilkinson is in Daniievirke.
