GUILD OF FELLOWSHIP

This week’s meeting of the St. Matthew’s Guild of Fellowship was a quiet sewing gathering owing to it being Easter week, but a very happy afternoon was spent by everyone. The day following the meeting was the ninety-first birthday of Mrs. Porter, the guild’s oldest member. It was also tbe birthday of Mrs. Upchurch, a member of tho guild for many years and Deaconess Holmes made an appropriate little speech wishing them all the best. A dainty posy and gift from the guild was presented to each and all joined in singing “For They Are Jolly Good Fellows.” Mrs. Porter then gave two very jolly little recitations and was rewarded with hearty applause.
