DALEFIELD SHOOTING
Search for Maisey Continues By Telegraph—Press Association. MASTERTON, March 13 At a late hour to-night no trace had been found of Stanley Charles Maisey, for whom an extensive police search has been carried out since Thursday morning. Maisey is wanted by the police in connection with a shooting affray at Dalefield, as the result of which Maisey’s father-in-law, Mr Anthony Conwell, is in hospital with a bullet wound in the jaw. A fairly large party of police is still in the district, and the police net has been spread throughout the Wellington district. It is now considered certain that the wanted man travelled to Wellington by service car on Thursday morning, but after he left the car in Featherston street he completely edThe condition of Mr Conwell remains satisfactory.
