HUGE FIRE DAMAGE

Over 1000 Houses Destroyed CALCUTTA, June 22. Enormous damage was caused by a fire in the bazaar at Peshawa, originating in the wood market. British and Indian troops were called out to aid the police. The fire brigade had to destroy a large area with dynamite to prevent the spread of the flames, which are still raging. Over 1000 houses have'been destroyed.
