Man Drowned in a Car TWO OTHERS ESCAPE By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, Juno 23. A motor-car driven by Mr Charles Johns, of Mount Eden, crashed into the railings of the bridge over the Mangawara stream, at Hoe-o-tainui, this morning, the ear falling into tho creek oeiow. Mr Charles Hunt, of Valley road, Mount Eden, who was in tho back scat, wag unable to get out and was drowned. Mr Johns and Mr Alfred Hunt, brother of the deceased, managed to extricate themselves. They summoned help and recovered the body of Mr Charles Hunt. Tho deceased was proceeding on a visit to his son, who is a farmer at Ngongotaha, near Rotorud.
