Enjoyable Club Night There was again a large attendance at the weekly club night of th, “Terries” held in the Drill Hall las night. Although the usual pastimes o ping-pong, darts, single-sticks, ringing the insulator and quoits were playect badminton took place of honour. Th< evening was spent in playing fo: positions on the badminton ladder an< resulted as follows:—Lieut. Meßrid< defeated Garland (16 —14), Jonsor (15 —10), Curtis (15 —7) and Robert son (15 —1) 1; Pte. Garland beat Gra ham (15 —5), McClintock (15 —5), New land (15 —1) 2; Q.M.S. Jonson beai Graham (15 —10), Begley (15 —4) Horn (15 —1) 3; C.M.S. Graham beal Beale (15 —0), Aldridge (15 —2) 4 Pte. Begley beat Beale (15 —3), Curtii (15 —7), McLeay (15 —1) 5; Ptes Beale 6, Curtis 7, McClintock 5, Rob ertson 9, Horn 10, McLeay IL Hawkin? 12. O'Donoghue 13, Newland 14, Aid ridge 15. At the conclusion of the evening Lieut. Mcßride informed the boys that Messrs. N. Wilson and P. Watson had kindiv consented to give an exhibition match of badminton at the club next Friday night.
