TOWN v. COUNTRY GOLF
Napier Ladies’ Club Match WIN FOR URBAN PLAYERS Members of the Napier Ladies’ Golf Club took part yesterday in the annual Town versus Country match, played at Waiohiki under cold and squally conditions. The links were soft and wet, but tn fair condition. Town defeated Country by 11J games to 7J. The following were the results, town players being mentioned first:— Miss Dalgleish halved with Mrs Geddis. Mrs Worker beat Mrs White. Mrs Phillips beat Mrs Fryer. Mrs Gleeson lost to Mrs Tattersall. Miss E. Lopdell beat Mrs Davies. Miss Edgar lost to Miss Z. Fryer. Mrs Sinclair lost to Miss Brown. Miss Milne beat Miss G. Fryer. Mrs Fussell lost to Mrs D. Kettle. Miss K. Geddis beat Miss P. Palmer. Mrs Atkinson beat Mrs Holden. Miss Weber lost to Mrs Tareha. Miss Sproule beat Mrs Nelson. Miss Bowman lost to Miss Palmer. Mrs Leahy beat Miss Pattullo. Miss Ormond beat Miss O. Smith.
