YOUNG MAN KILLED
Hamilton Motor Smash (By Telegraph—Press Association.) HAMILTON, May 11. A farm hand, Mr. Oliver James, was fatally injured in a motor smash uii Te Rapa straight, three miles from Hamilton, last evening. Mr. James was accompanying his employers, Mr. and Mrs. Graham Bartley, of Horotiu, iu a truck, when a motor ear driven by Mr. R. C. Wilson, of Te Kapa, met the vehicle head on, the truck overturning. Mr. Janies received extensive head injuries, from which lie succumbed several hours after admission to hospital. The others involved in the smash experienced a miraculous escape. Both vehicles were cxtcrji'.cly damage.:.
