French Government Awards

(Received 19, 10.30 a m.) PARIS, Sept. 18.

The Air Minister announced that the Government is awarding £3300 to the French airman finishing first in the speed section of the centenary air race, and £660 to the first Frenchman in the handicap event. The ’plane must also be French.
