British Mission to Germany
(Received 19, 10.10 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 18
Tho Leith Ross delegation is expected to report the results of its investigation to a special meeting of Cabinet next week. The Government will then consider possible lines of action.
Sir Frederick Leith Ross has no plenary powers, but will secure tho fullest information about the German economic position, and will press for payment of outstanding commercial debts, the total of which is now stated to be £1,750,000,

Industrialists’ Resolution
(British Official Wireless.) (Received 19, 1.15 p in.) RUGBY, Sept. 18
An emergency meeting of the tariffs and commercial treaties committee of the Federation of British Industries, fully attended by representatives of the leading trades of the country, unanimously passed the following resolution, which was forwarded to the President of tho Board of Trade:— “That His Majesty’s Government be requested to take immediately the strongest possible action to secure a settlement of outstanding commercial debts owing by German nationals and to provide lor methods which will ensure payment for current and future trade with Germany; and, further, negotiate with Germany as to ."uture trade, so that in any control or license system the position of British exporters will not be prejudiced.’’
