FLYING BY EASY STAGES

(Received 19, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 18

The New Zealander, Mr .Stanley G. White, ex-short service Air Force officer, left for Australia in a Gypsy Moth. He is flying by easy stages to Sydney, then shipping the ’plane to his Dome in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand.

Mr White is a son of Mrs and the lato Air J. W. White, of Campbell road, Havelock North, and learned to fly as a pupil of the Hawke’s Bay Aero Club. Ho was educated at Heretaunga School and tho Hastings High School, and was chosen for a shorDservice commission in the R.A.F. some two years ago.
