Legislation to be Passed SESSION MAY BE PROLONGED (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 13. Members of the Dairy Commission conferred with Cabinet to-day on recommendations for the rehabilitation of tho industry and stressed the need for urgent legislation. Interviewed later the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes said that legislation would be brought down as soon as possible. “Tho Government,” he said, “realises that tho present condition of the dairy industry cannot bo allowed to continue, and that it is of paramount importance that remedial measures be taken this session. The legislation will be comprehensive and it is just possible it will be necessary to prolong tho session somewhat to put it through.”
