GOLF ENDURANCE TEST

Ten Rounds in Hours Captain George Morris, of the London Devonshire Club, wagered £5OO that lie would do ten rounds of golf on the Walmcr and Kmgsdown course, near Deal, within 24 hours, in less than 900 strokes. And lie has succeeded. He set out at 4 a.m., on a morning when visibility was not more , th;in 50 yards; the task set amounted lo a test of physical endurance. Tho number ol strokes taken was 889, and the lime occupied, including stops, was 17 hours 20 minutes. The ten rounds wore as follows: —86, 85, 81 88, <BB, 8-1. 97, 95, <B5, 97.
