WELLINGTON, Aug. 18. The annual report of the Wellington Racing Club discloses a net profit for the year of £297 J9/6 after making provision for depreciation amounting to £2500. The report attributes the satisfactory financial result very largely to the adoption of the win-and-place system of betting.
