HASTINGS POLICE COURT FOUR MAORIS CHARGED At a sitting of the Hastings Police Court, before Mr A. Rosenberg, J.P., yesterday morning, four Maoris appeared on various charges. The first defendant was a first-offend-ing drunk who was convicted and discharged. Trrtti Ratima was charged with being found drunk and behaving in a disorderly manner on the Hastings racecourse op Saturday. He was fined £l. Hare Rukupo and Dave Hawkins were each charged with the theft from a car outside the Carlton Club Hotel on Satur.lay evening of 12 bottles of ale, the property of Joseph Laberton. Each wns fitted £2, with 2/- costs.
