SOARING ON FOREIGN EXCHANGES. (Received 9, 10.30 a.m.) Montreal, March 8. The Canadian dollar is soaring on foreign exchanges according to interpretation by experts placed on quotations in London, Paris and Montreal. The relationship of the pound to the French franc has remained steady in the past few days, but the Canadian dollar has increased in value against the others. Sterling opened here today at 4.14 against Tuesday’s 4.16 at the close and then slid to 4.10. The French franc was quoted at 4.80 over the week-end and has fallen to 4.71}.
