PARIS FINAL. COCHET TO TOUR. (United Press Association—By CableCopyright.) (Received 7, 1.25 p.m.) Paris, June 6. In the final of the tennis championship Cochet defeated Stefani 6 —o, 6—4, 4—6, 6 —3. The Italian was nonplussed in the first set, which Cochet won in twelve minutes. Cochet lapsed in the third, but recovered his best form in the fourth. Cochet and Merlin, a rising star, intend to tour the world, including Australia, after the Davis Cup contest.
