COMPROMISE TAX BILL
U.S. SENATE’S ACCEPTANCE. PRESIDENT RESIGNS. (United Press Association—By CableCopyright.) (Received 7, 10.10 a.m.) Washington, June 6. The United States Senate to-day accepted the compromise Tax Bill, 'completing Congressional action by sending it to President. Hoover for signature. By adopting the conference report adjusting differences with the House of Representatives the State ended the intense struggle that went into the making of the 1,118,500,000 dollars bill.
Later: President Hoover signed the Tax Bill late to-day.
